Meet Ashleigh Gainey, Co-Founder of Gainey Holdings

Ashleigh Gainey is a Cincinnati native whose journey has been unconventionally intentional. A graduate of Miami University, a teacher in Guangzhou, China, and obtaining her master’s from the University of Rochester, led her to the Rio Grande Valley in Texas to oversee 20,000 students and 71 staff. From Texas, to the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce as the inaugural Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Ashleigh created spaces for diverse people and companies alike where there once little to no space. Moving from Northern Kentucky to Cincinnati, Ashleigh led the community outreach and supplier diversity efforts for Skanska USA where she oversaw OH/KY/IN/TN. Ethical leadership, advocacy and relationship management are foundational to Ashleigh’s success.

Now serving as the Chief Growth Officer for Gainey Holdings a collaborative effort between her and her husband James;Ashleigh believes that doing business is more than transactions; it’s relationships, trust, time and sacrifice. Ashleigh has never met a stranger, and after one meeting with her-you will understand why.

Ashleigh loves to read, exercise, sing (even if it's not her strong suit), give BIG hugs and serve wherever she has capacity. She is married to James and is convinced that Midwest winters are incomparable to southern summers.
